Even now, people around me are telling me that my foundation is not needed will never work.
My answer to them is this: "People who can't do things themselves, will tell you that you can't do it either".

This foundation has been a dream of mine for the last 5 years. I remember back in 1996 when my husband and I started our company and we couldn't find ANYONE to help us with our innovation. Everyone said that we were crazy and it could not be done. They told us that no-one cared about local business and we would eventually fail. However, we knew in our hearts that we could build a program to help local business succeed when the reality was that they were losing the battle against the national companies.
Surflocal was an idea that became a reality and IS helping local business not only survive, but expand and prosper in today's markets. Our clients are finding new streams of income from the internet for their local businesses.
We want to help young innovators get their world-changing ideas turned into a reality that will help the US compete in technology world-wide.
We want to help young people with great ideas not to become discouraged by people who just do not understand their genius....
